Description

The hard metal teeth are pressed against one another by magnetic force. This magnetic force holds back the metal dust and swarf from the blade being sharpened, which makes the sharpener particularly safe to use near food products.

Once a blade has been sharpened with the QIXX®, its geometry does not change on subsequent sharpenings, so very little of the edge is ground away. The life of the edge is extended and the intervals between sharpenings grow longer. Wear on the edge is kept to a minimum.

If the hard metal teeth have come apart, that is a sign that too much pressure was used when sharpening.
The QIXX® is built to meet the highest hygiene requirements of the food industry. Washing and disinfection follow the hygiene directives in force.

The QIXX® sharpening tool is also available as a pneumatic, table-mounted version.

It is used outside production areas and is particularly suited to sharpening larger cutting tools.
